Velvet Revolver Looking for Singer
It seems that Velvet Revolver is still having problems with replacing Scott Weiland, who was fired in the past. The reason behind the firing was the fact that the former front man was involved in a lot of public spats. Now, according to Duff McKagan, no replacement has been found. It seems that former Spachog vocal Royston Langston was very close to be signed. The problem is that “something was missing” according to McKagan.
It was Velvet Revolver bassist that also said that around 40 singers have sent in vocal recordings on 2 of the band’s songs that have not yet been released. He also admits that it is hard to listen to so many and still be objective. He concluded by saying “We have to have somebody that’s amazing“. Although the band only released 2 studio albums, they are still highly popular and have a huge fan base behind them. We can’t wait for the next Velvet Revolver album.
